Jayden and I had the pleasure of being on Great Day SA this morning, to talk a little about Jayden's Journey and organ donation. I love to share Jayden's story because I believe Jayden's suffering and journey overall has a purpose. One of my goals in life is to get as many people as possible aware of organ donation both after death and through living organ donation. There are so many people on the waiting list and about half of those will die waiting for an organ. It is devastating to think about these statistics when the outcome could be different if only we all took that step and registered to be an organ donor and communicated that desire to our family, because donating organs is a time sensitive issue putting your name on the organ donor list doesn't always mean your organs will be donated. So make sure if it is your desire to donate your organs or your children's in the event that a tragedy occurs please communicate this with your loved ones. We don't have to be doctors to save lives. We can make a difference in so many lives just by one decision.
I attached the link to our segment of Great Day SA please feel free to share on your blogs or your websites. Pass it on! The more people we can get to hear about Organ Donation and spread the awareness (put a face to the disease sort of thing) the more possibility of getting people to learn the facts and save lives!

Yay for coupons!
So I have tried couponing in the past and quit overwhelmed before I even started but I have decided I have to stick to it and dedicate some time to it every week! I mean come on even celebrities get all their stuff for free and they have tons of money to spare, so why shouldn't I save my family some money and some stress! I must admit that I am obviously am very new at this so my savings were probably not as dramatic as some of the extreme couponers but none the less I am way excited!
I went to Walgreens!
Spent $28.65 Saved $41.61 (including the sale price, coupons, and register rewards)
I think its a pretty good start! Everything I bought was already on sale so on top of the sales and the register rewards and the coupons not too bad for my first coupon trip!

Operation Easter Bunny
I was a little hesitant to take Jayden to see the Easter Bunny this year because last year he was petrified and we didn't even get a picture he was screaming and shaking in fear. So this year I had to plan a trip after his nap, and buy him some of those mini pretzel dogs he loves so his tummy would be full and he would be well rested! It had to be very non chalant, we "just so happened" to pass by the Easter Bunny Set Up and I pointed the bunny out and asked him if he wanted to go look at the bunny from far away and he was so excited! He ran up to the bunny said Hi and sat right in his lap gave him hugs and kisses and he even cried when I said we couldn't bring the Easter bunny home. Needless to say we got a great picture! Operation Easter Bunny was a success :)
Happy Easter! |

Elmo-palooza
Some of you know that I love to scrap book and do arts and crafts but I have been swamped with school and life so I haven't had time. My sister asked me to design invitations for my God daughters 2nd Birthday and of course I have to find time for that so I said Yes! She is obsessed with Elmo, so Elmo-palooza just HAD to be the theme. I didn't want to do anything obvious or just buy Elmo invites at the store, So I started late last night and some of this morning to come up with something and here it is what do you think? It's a very rough draft so excuse the pencil marks and the obvious glue marks lol I couldn't find my glue stick so I used craft glue. The final product will be polished and perfect
Front the banner is supposed to look like the sesame street banner |
Back of course Elmo's Face it opens up to see the invitation below |
When Elmo's Face (the back) opens this is what they will see I will probably make some changes here and there but like I said rough draft :) |
